Recent market conditions of HE in strategic market is
1. Improving the quality, equipment and durability levels of Chinese and Korean in strategic market.
2. Increasing in purchase of new machines that prioritize light load work quality + price / fuel economy mainly
for users in the civil engineering application.
3. Premium manufacturers (Caterpillar, Volvo, Hitachi, Kobelco) also introduced low-cost, low-spec 20 ton
machines.
4. Chinese manufacturers have been aggressively expanding overseas with low prices.
5. On the other hand, Komatsu introduced PC210-10M0 as a model change of PC200-8M0. Although it is highly

Average fuel consumption


PC200-10M0 is idealized for civil engineering sites.
So, Komatsu reconsidered operation frequency of average fuel consumption and changed
it. As the result of reconsidering, PC200-10M0 and PC210-10M0 fuel consumption
improved by 18% compared with PC200-8M0.

Fuel consumption at P mode 90 degree dump truck loading
Fuel consumption at P mode 90 degree dump truck loading is improved by 15%.
As the result of putting importance on fuel consumption, the productivity of
90 degree truck loading Traveling PC200-10M0 is decreased by 5%, compared with PC200-8M0.
Auxiliary/Utility/ Idling Therefore, fuel efficiency (t/L) is increased by 10%.

Lower Fuel Consumption

Easy to change E mode


To match users production volume, has P Easy to select E mode from mode selection screen directly
mode and E mode in 4 levels (E0 to E3 mode).
It is focused on saving fuel consumption
volume.
Until PC200-8M0, operator has to navigate
deep into the system to access E mode
selecting screen. However in PC200-10M0,
operator can access it easily. And also you can
see E0, E1, E2, E3, on the top screen. For
utilization of E mode, see below as reference.

Operating mode and fuel dial position


To set up (or keep) fuel dial as MAX, shift (change) operation Selected mode shown on the monitor
mode in E1 → E3.
Some customers set machine to P mode and set fuel dial
partially full, but this is not necessary.
By choosing the appropriate mode, the machine will control fuel
efficiency and productivity.
Especially for hoist swing, swing speed and boom raise,
amount are optimally controlled in each
mode so that operator can operate without stress.
