ENDEAVOUR TO AMALGAMATE PARENTING AND
SCHOOLING TOGETHER BY BEING THE FOSTER PARENT
FOR THE CHILD. WHILE THE TEACHERS INVOLVE
CHILDREN IN THE CLASSROOM AND LEARNING,
Accolad PARENTS PARTICIPATE AND SUPPORT THEM ALONG
es THEIR JOURNEY FROM ONE GRADE TO THE NEXT. OUR
SCHOOL STRIVES TO BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH
PARENTS AND GET THEM INVOLVED AT THE SCHOOL.
THE SUCCESS OF ONLINE TEACHING HAS ALSO BEEN
POSSIBLE BECAUSE THE PARENTS HAVE CREATED A
HOME ENVIRONMENT THAT SUPPORTS LEARNING AND
BY COMMUNICATING WITH TEACHERS, SCHOOL
STAFF, AND PARTICIPATING IN SCHOOL ACTIVITIES.
WHEN TEACHERS AND PARENTS WORK TOGETHER, IT
CREATES A TEAM-LIKE ATMOSPHERE WHICH IS ONLY
IN THE INTEREST OF THE CHILD.
PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
It is human nature to become pessimistic under the
influence of adversities of life. However, if we develop
an attitude to see an opportunity in every adversity,
then we will not fall short of getting enough chances in life. There is no man on earth
who has not gone through the bitter and sweet experiences of life. It is the potential in
you that can bring the best out of every situation. To overcome any challenge, we first
need to get rid of the fear of failure and manoeuvre in the direction of achievement.
The transition from book to online education has raised a multitude of challenges for
students as well as teachers. However, we can transform the crisis into opportunities
if we change our mental model by focussing on how to use the current situation to
speed up long overdue changes. It is a time of digitalisation, invest in it, and spot new
opportunities generated by the crisis brought in by the pandemic. Besides planning
and strategizing, it is also equally important to stay motivated. Have faith in yourself
and focus on acquiring the necessary skillset. Surround yourself with supportive and
optimistic people to avoid feeling isolated in the face of crisis. Sometimes, the goals we
set may seem unattainable and as a result, we often withdraw ourselves from the
situations and make decisions. Never decide anything unfortunate in a weak moment
and always remember that no crisis is impossible to get through. Even if it ends
poorly, use the lessons it taught you to make the situation a success. Always
remember that ‘Every cloud has a silver lining’. we should look forward to the good
time that follows when we overcome those difficult times.

KNOWING
SIKKIM

India is a land of diversity- along with various cultural and linguistic

patterns, multifarious learning needs are also in abundance. The
Government of India has pioneered ‘Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat
’programme to steer the outcomes of learning towards a more
assorted one. Under this initiative, a virtual 'Know my Sikkim' Activity
was conducted for the students of preschool to familiarise them with
the rich culture, customs and traditions of the mesmerising state. To
exhibit its vivacious culture, the tiny blossoms donned the customary
costume of Sikkim. Also, the pristine and mystic beauty of land was
reflected in their backdrops. The exercise enabled them to appreciate
and accommodate diversity thus fostering a sense of common identity.
