Summary

The findings revealed that the majority of the second year Bachelor of Science in Accountancy

(BSA) 2nd year students in Holy Angel University (HAU) in the second semester of the academic year

2020-2021 are mostly females which shows 65.7 percent of the result with the most common age rages

between 20-21.

In the academic and mental well-being we use Likert Scale. Based on the findings, the mean in

the Academic Question is 4.03 which means most of the respondents “Agree” that they preferred

traditional way which is the face-to-face way of teaching. On the other hand, in the Mental-Well being

question the mean is 3.61 which means they experience being upset, stress, irritations, etc. “Fairly

Often”.

In determining if there is a significant relationship between mental being and academic performance of

2nd year BSA students in HAU in the second semester of the academic year 2020-2021 we use Pearson R

Correlation. Our study showed a negligible correlation because our pearson R is 0.20 which means there

is no significant relationship between the Academic Performance and the Mental-Well being. Based din

sa findings only 4.12% of the changes in academic performance can be explained by changes in in

mental well-being and the remaining 95.88% are unexplained factors or factors not included in this

study. This data only showed that kahit na gusto ng mga 2 nd year BSA students in HAU ng face-to-face

setup of teaching hindi pa rin sapat na sabihin natin na walang kwenta ang online class kasi based sa

study there is no evidence na stress or hirap ang mga student sa current setup. The online setup is
