Submitting to Power of God’s Word

The Holy Spirit cannot be deceived. (Acts 5)

He knows the meaning of every voice (1 Cor. )

He that is spiritual discerns all things.

There are many voices in the world, none of them is without meaning.

Nothing is hid from the Lord.

Satan said, “You`re hungry. You`re the Son of God. Turn these stones into bread!” (Matt. 4:3)

The problem is, this was not a directive from God.

Jesus said, “It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the
mouth of God” (Matt. 4:4)

The Father did not direct Jesus to turn those stone into bread.

It was not a directive from God. It was a directive from Satan.

Jesus did not want to come under the subjection of Satan, by yielding to his directive.

“to whom you yield yourself servant to obey, his servant you are, to whom you obey” (Rom. 6:16)

If you yield to the enemy’s directive, you come under subjection to him.

Why would you want to come under subjection to the enemy?

Resist the enemy and stay free from yielding yourself to obey him.

Submit yourself to God.

Yield yourself to His words!
