A. Preliminary Activity

B. Motivation (20 minutes)
Group Activity: ACT ME!
Let the pupils chose their own groupings. Ask them to brainstorm on how to
break the cycle of abuse, exploitation and discrimination. After the
brainstorming, let them act what they have brainstormed within their groups.
C. Discussion
The teacher will play a short video containing the special protection
against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination and shows pictures of
children who are affected of child abuse.
The teacher will discuss the over all topic and give examples for the
students to be able to understand and comprehend the topic.
V. Generalization:
Republic Act 7610 or Special Protection Against Abuse, Exploitation and
Discrimination Act an act providing for stronger deterrence and special protection
and special protection against child abuse, exploitation, and discrimination,
providing penalties for it’s violation and for proper purposes.
This act is important to everyone especially to pupils for them to know where
to ask for help if they feel that they are being abused with their guardians. This act
will help protect the children who are victims of abusive act, exploitation,
discrimination and any other form that makes the child feel unsafe within the
environment they belong.
VI. Assignment
Ask the pupils on what they have learned about R.A 7610 and how they are going to
apply it to themselves.
