Roles and Functions of SDRRMC/CPP Officers


1. Formulates SDRRMC/CPP Annual Implementation Plan (AIP).
2. Take the lead role in advising the SDRRMC/CPP members.
3. Lead in the conduct of advocacy activities on SDRRMC/CPP.
4. Lead in the conduct on the use of SDRRMC/CPP facilities.
5. Know the general purpose of the SDRRMC/CPP and be familiar on the
provisions stipulated in tor.
6. Serve as guide to the parents and other stakeholders in management in
proper planning, monitoring and evaluation.
7. Inform the school community of all activities sponsored and conducted by
the SDRRMC/CPP and attend events.
8. Act as overseer during SDRRMC/CPP meetings.
9. Supervise all SDRRMC/CPP activities and projects.
10. Perform other functions delegated by the School Head.

Roles and Functions of the WASH Team
1. Enhance programme efficiency and effectiveness through evidence base approach and
implementation follow-on, including local conditions and resources, flow of supply and non-
supply and humanitarian assistance and WASH programme status.
2. Analyse collected data and information and prepare reports: draft changes in WASH project
work plans and assist in identification of required supplies and equipment documentation,
assuring accuracy and consistency with established rules, regulations and plans of actions.
3. Ensure the availability of accurate, complete and up to date information required for effective
WASH programme and project design, implementation, management, monitoring and
evaluation. Draft sound WASH programme budgets for review by the supervisor, including
concrete steps to enhance emergency preparedness and response.
4. Promote emergency response actions while at the same time considering the need for early
recovery planning as well as prevention and risk reduction concerns.

Roles and Responsibilities of GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE


1. Establish its own procedures and strategies.
Membership in the grievance committee shall be considered part of the
member’s regular duties.
2. Develop and implement pro-active measures or activities to prevent
grievance such as an employee assembly which shall be conducted at least
once every quarter, “talakayan”, counselling and other interventions. Minutes
of the proceedings of these activities shall be documented for audit
purposes.
3. Conduct continuing information drive on the Grievance Machinery among
officials and employees. Conduct dialogue between and among the parties
involved.
4. Direct the documentation of the grievance including the preparation and
signing of written agreements reached by the parties.
5. Issue final certification of the Final Action of the GRIEVANCE (CFAG) which
shall contain, among other things, the history and final action taken by the
agency on the grievance.
6. Submit a quarterly report of its accomplishments and status of unresolved.

AWARDS COMMITTEE

1. In line with the standardization of procurement


procedures and the thrust towards strengthening
the procurement function to increase operational
efficiency and effectiveness, heads of procuring
entities shall aim to consolidate, or unify all
procurement activities of the school, whether
locally funded of foreign assisted, and whether
pertaining to goods, infrastructure projects or
consulting services of the school.
2. The procuring entity shall not assume any
responsibility regarding erroneous interpretations
or conclusions by the prospective or eligible
bidder out of the data furnished by the procuring
entity.
3. The School Bids and Awards Committee and Technical
Working Group will evaluate both the technical and
financial proposals of the Service Providers based
on the technical requirements of the project and
the post evaluation.

TERM OF REFERENCE (ToR) of the School Planning Team


1. Advice the Governing Body on the School’s Development
Plan and it’s statutory.
2. Assist the staff, to monitor and evaluate attainment
recording, the delivery of the curriculum and “Every
Child Matters” objectives.
3. Review, approve and monitor the implementation of
policies for curriculum areas, special educational needs,
collective worship, race, equality, student discipline,
looked-after children, child protection and the
disability equality scheme.
4. Ensure that the needs of the students with special
educational needs are met.
5. In conjunction with the head teacher, to recommend to the
governing body statutory targets for student attainment
6. At least annually, to receive a report from the Head
Teacher on the joint Annual Review (JARV), on the quality
of teaching, on standards of student achievement and to
identify any necessary governing body actions.
7. After consultation with the Head Teacher and staff, to
identify priorities for the School Development Plan for
discussion and approval by the governing body.
8. To monitor, at least once a term, the School’s self-
evaluation procedure and progress on implementing the
School Improvement Plan.
9. To review, after consultation with the Head Teacher and
staff, the School’s policies and student well-being,
personal development, homework, uniform and appearance of
students, and make any recommendations.
10. To review and monitor the policy on charging and
remissions for, and the conduct of, school journey’s and
visits and other off-site pupil activity.
