I. OBJECTIVES

General: This seminar aims to help student maximize available resources to

Specific: 1. To improve communication and leadership of the students.

2. To build self-confidence, enhance self-esteem and improve

overall personality of the participants.

3. The seminar aims at grooming the participants through

sensitizing them about proper behavior, socially and professionally,

in formal and informal circumstances.

II. TARGET GROUP(S)

The seminar is open to all students, faculty and staff. Participation of the

students of BIT- Electrical and BIT- Computer is highly encouraged to be part of

the seminar.

III. DESCRIPTION OF METHODOLOGY

Personality Development is considered as one of the most important thing

everyone should know. In today’s world, personality and attitude is more

important than the skills, knowledge and ability.

Because personality development is really matter and appropriate to the

interests and needs of every individual especially to the student, the BIT-

Electrical and BIT- Computer decided to choose this topic and combined in

conducting this seminar to make it more successful. The organizers find a

speaker that really fit to this kind of topic by searching and asking their friends to

look for the quest speaker in this seminar. It’s more than a week before they

found their resource speaker because they choose the best one that really helps

them in developing their personality, the organizers then discussed how

important this topic is and how this seminar helps the students in building their

personality. The organizers also said that this seminar is not only for the

compliance of their subject instead, it is something that they can use in their

future.

After the organizers and the speaker settled everything, the speaker suggest

to do the seminar while everyone is free and not busy to their school work so that

they focus more to the topic. So, the proposed date of the seminar was October

20, 2017 at 8:00 in the morning.

IV. DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY

The speaker and participants arrived at exactly 8:00 in the morning but due to

the power interruption the program start at 9:00 am. To make sure that everyone

in the seminar feels comfortable, the organizers find a way to have atleast a

generator to provide electricity to the electric fan and sound speaker. Because of

the perseverance to share the knowledge and the kindness of their speaker, they

start the program even though it’s a little bit late.

The program was opened by the prayer leading by Ms. Rosemarie Decilos

followed by the National Anthem. Afterwards, Edwin Lasheras, the master of

ceremony called Engr. Rhobert E. Alvarez, Dean of colleges, to have the opening

remarks then after that Ms. Carmina Caraig introduced the quest speaker. Right

after introducing the speaker, Ms. Charlene C. Orosco, the guest speaker,

started the lecture which is about Personality Development. The whole session

became interesting and enjoyable because there’s an activity, exercises and

game that help the student to know their self better. The speaker also asked their

participants about their experience and problem to develop them more. Open

forum also done to hear the voice and opinion of the participants.

After the session, the awarding of certificates to the guest speaker and to the

participants took place. The closing remarks were done by Dr. Marian C.

Panganiban, the head of CIT.

V. ANALYSIS AND EVALUATION OF THE SEMINAR RESULTS

Overall, the program became successful from the very beginning until the end

because of the participation of the student, the faculty and the guest speaker.

The seminar helps the participants to know their self, acquire new knowledge,

express their feelings, understand their self, share their experience and also

develop their personality.

VI. MANAGEMENT OF THE SEMINAR

To make the seminar a successful one, the organizers divide their work so

that everyone has their own duties. Ms. Carmina Caraig, Ms. Rosemarie Decilos

and Mr. Edwin Lasheras assigned the other member to do some task before,

during and after the seminar. Before the seminar will start they will ensure that

everything is all set like the documents, tarpaulin, invitation and certificates.

Since BIT-CPT is more knowledgeable in using computer, they assigned all the

CPT members to do the paper works while the BIT-ELEC was assigned to

prepare the venue of the seminar since they all boys. During the seminar, as Mr.
Edwin Lasheras and Ms. Carmina Caraig take the stage as the masters of

ceremony, Mr. Florante Espiritu and Mr. Edilbert Soriano are taking the photo for

the documentation. While Ms. Marian Hernandez and Ms. Angelica Morillo

assisted the participants, Mr. Ian Alamag, Mr. Mark Capili and Mr. Marlon

Valencia are busy in fixing the generator due to the power interruption. The food

was then prepared by Mr. Arvee Vergara and Ms. Rosemarie Decilos. Also, the

seminar will not be possible and successful without the help of Engr. Rhobert E.

Alvarez who help the organizers in preparing this all.

After the seminar was finished, the narrative report is done by the leader with

the help of their members to accomplish the requirements need to pass.

VII. SUGGESTIONS

Even though the seminar became successful, the organizers want to suggest

something to make every seminar more interested. Maybe it is more interesting if

it’s not only seminar but also workshop. In this case, participants will not only

express their opinions and feelings but also they will impress others with their

skills.
