Management
1. Strategize, design and implement a robust procurement and supply chain management plan for
timely and cost competitive sourcing of goods and services as per the project requirements.
2. Manage and coordinate over all procurement and contract management for successful delivery of
goods/ services to the operational team.
3. Discover, Evaluate reliable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships.
4. Plan the ordering of necessary goods and services.
5. Enquire and obtain the quotation with external vendors.
6. Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the
company.
7. Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries as per the project timelines.
8. Negotiate pricing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers securing advantageous terms,
issuing the work orders / POs and obtaining the confirmation for vendors.
9. Review Material Management work schedules/plans, identifies opportunities to improve
performance, reduce costs, maximize use of resources, etc.
10. Manage Material management budgets/costs with risk assessments evaluation.
11. Implementing cost saving measures to achieve substantial cost reduction in terms of outsourcing
and Procurement.
12. Conducts reverse auctions for identified items.
13. Developing new vendors to bring about cost savings and Vendor management.
14. Conduct Supplier evaluation, Supplier performance improvement, Supplier rating.
15. Ensure compliance to project budgets and provide analysis of deviations.
16. Controls spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs through ARC.
17. Coordinate and build relationship with the other departments to complete the assigned tasks in an

1. Responsible for strategically sourcing and identification of vendor management.
2. Proactively planning, monitoring, controlling and reporting the progress of the job work/sub
contract work including material procurement, logistics etc., and any associated variations.
3. Approving Purchase order created by the buyer based on the technical specification, budget, LPP.
4. Create domestic and Import Purchase order in ERP (SAP System) for Rubber chemicals, tubes and
flaps and sub-contracting jobs.

1. Oversee Purchase for steel items, cladding, nuts & bolts, consumables, equipment.
2. Budget setting.

4. Planning and preparation of project programme in coordination with the project engineers’.
