This section of the business plan presents the description of the business, its location, and the total
funding requirements and the possible funding resource.

Description of the Business

Water plays an important role in human lives. According to U.S Food and Nutrition Board people needs
to have at least 2.5 liters or 84.5 fluid ounces per day. Alka Luna is a sole proprietorship water supply business
founded by Alexandra Marie Picones. The business would focus only on providing good quality drinking water.
Demand for a good source and delivery service of drinking water will never run out. The business opts to target
the residences in Libid Biangonan, Rizal especially people who likes delivering their goods door to door. Because
of high demand for clean water, refilling station business becomes one of the most promising businesses today.

Alka Luna would be very different from other water refilling station because it would not only go for the
profit but would also go for the quality service to the customers. Further, the business will encourage the more
efficient and effective water delivery, ensuring that the business will be fast enough to catch every customer’s
demand. Alka Luna would for the quality yet affordable clean drinking water ensuring that everyone will be safe
and hydrated.

Location of the Business

Alka Luna will be located at 147 A. Bonifacio Libid Binangonan, Rizal. The business would not go costing
for the rent of the space because the business will only be at the front house of the owner. The location of the
business is good and profitable because there no other competitors that are near, along the streets of Libid
Binagonan Rizal Alka Luna would only eb the water refill business. Furthermore, the customers are in demand
for the drinking water because most of them would go to the market which is a waste of time. Having a water
refill station near them would save their time and effort.

Funding Requirement and Source of Funds

Alka Luna is a water refill business that would surely need a lot of capital to be build because of the
machines needed. The business is estimated to cost about ₱600,000.00 - ₱700,000.00 including the expensive
water filters. The source of business will come from personal investment it will be a big cost because the
business will avoid loaning or borrowing of capital. The capital is from personals savings this will ensure that if
the business will start to operate the profit will be full and not be decreased by the loan’s interests, avoiding
bankruptcy.
