WRITING A SIMPLE STORY

Writing a simple story is a fun way to learn. It unleashes your
imagination and creativity. It is important to state the elements of
the story as it makes the story rich with details.
In writing a story, the elements should always be present.
These elements are:
1. Characters- pertain to the person/animal in the story.
2. Setting- Tells the time and place of the story.
3. Plot- is the events in the story that include problem and
solution the character face.

What Is It
A story is a description of imaginary people and events written
or told to entertain and educate people. It can either be based on
true experiences or mere products of the writer’s imagination.
To write a simple story, you must learn the different elements
that compose it. These are the following:
1. Characters are the people or animal involved in a story. The
character who is the focus of the story is called the main
character.
2. Setting is the place and time in which the story takes place.
3. Plot/Event is the inter-connected series of events which make
up the story. It composes the problem, the solution, and the
climax in the story.
