NOUN
A noun is a name of a thing that do action/s.

1 The doctor calls the That active sentence (no.1) has two nouns; (1) doctor
next patient to get in and (2) patient. The word “Doctor” is a noun as subject.
While the word “patient” is a noun as object.

VERB
A verb functions to show the activity done by
the subject. In a sentence, a verb describes
what the subject do or does.

Learners can find easily the position of verb


because in an active sentence it is placed right
after the subject. Verb is also known as
predicate. There are numerous examples of
verbs as follows

Conjunctions are words that join together


other words or groups of words
Example:

INTERJECTION
An interjection is a word or phrase that is
grammatically independent from the
words around it, and mainly expresses
feeling rather than meaning.
Examples:
1. Terrific, you are so brilliant.
2. Fantastic, their shoes are awesome.
3. Wow, she looks outstanding today.
