Malvar is a landlocked municipality located in Batangas' coastal province.
The municipality covers 33.00 square kilometers (12.74 square miles) of land, accounting for 1.06
percent of Batangas' total land area. According to the 2020 Census, it has a population of 64,379. This
amounted to 2.21 percent of Batangas province's total population, or 0.40 percent of the CALABARZON
region's total population. According to these estimates, the population density is 1,951 people per
square kilometer or 5,053 people per square mile.
On the island of Luzon, the municipal center of Malvar is located at around 14° 3' north, 121° 9' east. At
these coordinates, the elevation is calculated to be 202.6 meters or 664.6 feet above sea level.
The cities nearest to Malvar are Tanauan, Batangas, Santo Tomas, Batangas, Lipa, Batangas, Calamba,
Laguna, San Pablo, Laguna, and Tagaytay, Cavite. Balete, Batangas, Alaminos, Laguna, Mataas na kahoy,
Batangas, Talisay, Batangas, Los Baos, Laguna, and San Jose, Batangas are the closest municipalities. It is
