GUIDELINES

Topic Selection:

1. Select topics related to Industry/Technology/allied area, but not part of the curriculum.

2. Repetition of topics not permitted.

Presentation:

Presentation shall be for at least 15 minutes.

Presentation is to be made with audio visual aids.

The font size should be large enough at all times.

Avoid the common mistake of using colours that are hard to see when projected.
The content of your talk should be logically organized and understandable for the audience.

Include slide numbering on your slides.

After the main part of the presentation , use a brief conclusion section ,to summarize the main
points.

Future Research: After your concluding summary, add brief hints concerning your ideas for future
research ( only one slide).

Speak loud enough for everyone in the room to hear you.

Speak with a clear voice .

You need to find the right speed of talking and changing slides.

Report:

A rough report of the seminar shall be submitted at least 3 working days before

presentation.The fair report shall be submitted within one week after the presentation.

The report shall include: 1. Abstract 2. Actual content 3. Reference .

Assessment of Seminar : Total : 50 marks

1 Relevance of Topic : 10 % ( 5 marks)
2 Collection of Materials : 20 % ( 10 marks)
3 Presentation (Presentation slides, delivery) :40 % ( 20 marks)
4 Question Answer / Discussion : 10 % ( 5 marks)
5 Seminar Report :10 % (5 marks)
6 Attendance : 10 % ( 5 marks)
Last date for approval of seminar topic is : 10/11/2021
