Dr. Dhaval Maheta

Dr. Dhaval Maheta is doctorate in Management and currently working as an Assistant Professor, Department of
Business and Industrial Management, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat. He has twenty years of Post –
Graduate teaching experience over and above industrial experience with Multinational Finance Companies such as
ICICI Bank and HDFC Ltd. He has presented and published 40 research papers in National and International
Conferences. He has been the key resource persons for the Research Methodology workshops organized at
various levels including NITs and IIMs. He has completed minor research project titled “Effect of Money Supply on
Stock Exchange”.
He has organized various Faculty Development Programme on Data Analysis using SPSS, STATCRAFT, STATA, R
and R-Studio, Minitab, Jamovi, Excel, Power BI Desktop, Google Data Studio, Tableau, SPSS-AMOS, ADANCO,
Smart-PLS, SEM using R, Qualitative Data Analysis using Nvivo and Atlas.it, Design of Experiment using Minitab
and Design Expert, Eviews, Gretl, Econometric Analysis using R, Meta Analysis using R and Jamovi, Bibliometric
analysis using Biblioshiny and VOXviewer, Machine Learning using R, Rattle, Orange, WEKA, Rapidminer, Fuzzy
Logic using MATLAB, IBM Watson Predictive Analytics, Data using Python Jupyter, TORA, Gephi, etc. More than
10,000 faculties, professionals and bureaucrats have been trained by him for various softwares related to data
analysis.

Dr. Hitesh Parmar

Dr. Hitesh Parmar is presently working as Assistant Professor at Department of BusinessManagement (MBA),
Sardar Patel University, VallabhVidyanagar, Gujarat. He is Ph.D in Management from Veer Narmad South Gujarat
University, B.E (Mechanical) from Saurashtra University, MBA ( Production& Operations Management) from
Bhavnagar University and Post Graduate Diploma in Research Methodology from Veer Narmad South Gujarat
University. He has 12 years of Professional Experience. He has taught Subjects like Quantitative Methods,
Production and Operations Management, Marketing Research, Operations Research, Logistics and Supply Chain
Management. He has participated in more than 30 National/International Seminar/ Workshops/Conferences.
He is actively conducting Faculty Development Programmes and Workshops in the area of Data Analysis by using
various softwares like SPSS, Minitab, R, E-Views and SPSS-Amos. He has trained more than 1500 participants
across India in the above mentioned area. Dr. Hitesh Parmar has Served as Resource Person in more than 60
Faculty Development Programmes across India in the area of Research Methodology using SPSS, R, Minitab,
SPSS - AMOS & E views. His Research area is Supply Chain Management. He has also co-authored a book on
“Business Statistics” published by Himalaya Publishing House, India.

Dr. Janki Mistry

Dr. Janki Mistry is a faculty of Finance at the Department Of Business and Industrial and Management, Veer
Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat. She has an MBA degree (Distinction- Gold medal) in Finance from Veer
Narmad South Gujarat University and a Doctorate in Management from the same university. She has also completed
a one year Post Graduate Diploma programme in Research Methodology. Majority of her research and publications
are in the area of Corporate Restructuring and Mergers & Acquisitions. She has been teaching postgraduate courses
in the field of Business Management since the past 14 years. Dr. Mistry worked with Kotak Mahindra Bank before
joining academics.
She has presented research papers in various conferences in India and abroad. Her recent presentations were in
The Paris Annual Business Research conference as well as the Asia Pacific Business Conference in Singapore. She
was also invited to chair sessions at both these conferences. She received the “Best Paper Award” for her
presentation in the 5th International conference on Contemporary Issues in Management held at Bangalore in
February 2017. She has 27 publications in National and International Journals. Her case studies have been
published in Scopus Indexed Journals. She is also a recipient of the Woman Achiever award conferred by the Surat
Municipal Corporation.
