Uncountable Nouns
Nouns can be countable or uncountable. Countable nouns are nouns that can be
singular or plural. Uncountable nouns are nouns that can only be singular.

Countable: Bob is a handsome man.


(You can have a man or two men.)

Uncountable: He made progress on his work.


(You can only make progress. You can’t make progresses.)
