IV. PROCEDURES
Activity 1:
Review previous lesson about some basic skills in swimming
Ask learner if they know how to swim.
A. Activity
Let some learners share their unforgettable experiences during the first time they go on swimming with their
classmates or family member.
Introduce a lesson about swimming basic skills specifically on free style stroke.
Activity 2: (Video Clip Presentation) (5 to 10 minutes presentation)
Learners watch a video of swimming tutorial specifically about free style.
Open discussion / share their reaction about the video presented
Let the learners identify some:
a. Barriers in swimming.
b. Moderate Vigorous Physical Activities (MVPA’s) about swimming.
c. Proper etiquette and safety in swimming.
d. Physical Activities in swimming.
Reflection:

Teacher asks:
1. What is freestyle swimming –
Freestyle is a category of swimming competition, defined by the rules of the International Swimming Federation,
in which competitors are subject to few limited restriction on their swimming stroke.
