    A/ Reporting Statements & Questions:

    Direct Speech Reported Speech


    She says: "I like English." She says that she likes English.
    Ahmed says: "I don’t read newspapers." Ahmed says that he doesn’t read newspapers.
    Statement
    s He said: "I practise sport." He said that he practised sport.
    Amel said: "I don’t have a computer." Amel said that she didn’t have a computer.
    Questions

    "Wh" She asked me: "Where is your book?" She asked me where my book was.
    Questions She asked me: "What do you like?" She asked me what I liked.

    "Yes , No" He asked me: "Do you play handball?" He asked me if I played handball.
    Questions My friend asked me: "Do you watchTV?" My friend asked me if I watched TV.

    The Aim: To reinforce the transformation of reported speech.
