CERTIFIED QUALITY FOR MORE
THAN 40 YEARS.
For more than 40 years, CAME has been specialising in the design,
industrialisation, and marketing of high-quality electromechanical gear
motors for residential, commercial, and industrial automated entrances.
CAME’s activities are organised around three divisions:
• Home - door and window automation systems, burglar alarm systems,
and integrated home automation systems.
• Work - burglar alarm solutions and operators for small and large
enterprises and commercial businesses.
• Car parks and access control systems - complete systems for
managing car parks and access control systems.
We at CAME are extremely proud of our Italian roots, but, at the same time,
we are driven by a strong propensity towards internationalisation.
Our headquarters are based in Dosson di Casier, in the province of
Treviso. However, we have a consolidated worldwide presence, thanks
to our 21 commercial companies and a extensive network of distributors.
Our six production plants in Italy, France, Spain, and Britain are bound to
commercial companies located in 118 countries. This way, we can meet
the global market’s requirements and challenges quickly and effectively,
providing tailor-made solutions for each market.

EN TESTED TECHNOLOGY
CAME is the first company in Europe to have developed the EN Tested
system, which sets new and higher safety standards for the product during
the design, production, final testing, and installation stages.
The EN Tested symbol identifies the tested operators in compliance with
European Directives concerning impact forces.

A TÜV-CERTIFIED PRODUCT
CAME S.p.A.’s integrated management system complies with the
international UNI EN ISO 9001, UNI EN ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001
standards. Moreover, it ensures the conformity of the company’s quality
processes, and compliance with environmental and occupational health
and safety regulations.

All operators are tested

in compliance with
European Directives con-
cerning impact forces.

Safety provisions
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The machine’s components must be used only for the purpose for which they have been expressly designed. Any other
use must be considered improper and, therefore, dangerous. CAME will not be held liable for any damage resulting from
improper, incorrect and unreasonable use or maintenance deficiencies.
Keep away from the hinges or moving mechanical parts.
Do not counter the operator's movement as it could be dangerous. Always pay special attention to the dangerous points
labelled with specific pictograms and/or black and yellow stripes.
Swing doors: do not enter the operating area when the operator is moving.

Danger! High Danger of hand Danger of foot No transiting while the

voltage. crushing crushing barrier is moving

The leaves may move at any time and without warning!

Make sure that the leaves’ movement does not cause anything to be trapped between it and surrounding fixed parts,
keeping the areas near the operator free from obstructions.
This appliance can be used by children over 8 years of age, by people with physical or cognitive disabilities, by people
lacking experience or knowledge of the device, as long as they are supervised or have been informed about how to use
the device safely and about its risks • Children must not play with the appliance or its controls, including the transmitters.

CORRECT OPERATING MODE

The operator must run under the conditions checked during the functional test carried out by the installer in the presence
of the end user. It is forbidden to tamper with the settings.
Stop using the operator immediately in the presence of a malfunction or structural damage and contact our technical
support service.

Controls

☐ AUTOMATIC

☐ WITHOUT SELF-HOLDING FUNCTION
(in HOLD-TO-RUN mode, the operator must
always be visible during the manoeuvre)

☐ RADAR
Every time the radar detects an object within its operating area, the leaf (or leaves) open. The door starts closing only when the
body leaves the radar detection area and once the automatic closing time has elapsed.
If the safety photocells detect an obstacle (e.g. a person at the passage), the door will not close while the body remains in the
detection area.
MASTER-SLAVE INTERLOCK SYSTEM: as soon as the radar detects a presence (internal or external), the operator opens the
relative door while the other is locked, thus triggering a series of operations that ends when the second door closes. The central
(intermediate) sensor detects the presence of people between the two operators (opening the subsequent door), but also serves
as a safety device, as it opens the first door if the second door does not open due to a malfunction.

☐ WITH MA7041 FUNCTION KEY-SWITCH SELECTOR

Warning: If the “suspended lock” is set, the electric lock’s operation varies depending on the function set with the key-switch
selector.
It unlocks with the first “open” command or by
selecting “open door” on MA7041.
It locks by selecting “door closed” or “exit only” on
MA041.

The key-switch selector allows you to set the

required function by pressing the “selection” button in
sequence. Every time you press the button, you switch
to the following function according to the logic described below.
Warning: every function will be active only at the end of the manoeuvre in progress.

Unlocking the operators

MANUAL HANDLING
Carefully read the instructions before carrying out any operation.

UNLOCKING WITH A LATCH-LOCK MECHANISM

In case of power outage or malfunction, Came automatic doors can be handled manually (respect their natural opening
direction).
If the operator is equipped with an electronic lock, use the unlocking device before making the leaf slide. See the example
in the following figure.

BREAK-THROUGH ANTI-PANIC SYSTEM FOR SLIDING DOORS

The integral break-through anti-panic system works REGARDLESS OF THE POSITION OF THE SLIDING DOORS during
motion and covers also the FIXED LEAVES.
To facilitate regular flows and the passage of bulky objects, both the fixed and movable leaves can be broken through and
placed at the two sides of the door.
Juxtapose the leaf/leaves to restore the sliding door operation.
