RESULTS AND DISCUSSIONS

This chapter presented the analysis discussion of results of data gathered

through statistical to answer the problems stated in Chapter 1.

Table 1 shows the overall responses of the respondents from the survey questionnaire given to them.
Both professional engineers (6) and engineering students (6), a total of 12 respondents answered the
said questions distributed by the researchers. Based on the data above, they can conclude that almost
all of the respondents are strongly agreeing with the assessment of the efficiency of using
photogrammetry as a digital measuring tool in the fieldwork.

Table 2 represents the overall weighted mean score of the responses from the survey
questionnaire. The total numbers of responses from each column were multiplied by the corresponding
rate to have the frequency. Then, get the summation of the product of the frequency and weight, and
divide it to the total number of respondents to obtain the weighted mean score. The verbal
interpretation depends on the range given.

QUESTION W.M. V.I.

1.1 The advantage of photogrammetry is that it can analyze the data to get the 3.83 SA
measurements and convert them to a 3D map in no time and least cost.

1.2 It is effective to use photogrammetry to save time. 3.67 A

1.3 You can accomplish your tasks efficiently and save time by using photogrammetry. 3.58 A
2.1 Photogrammetry from start to end the project is moving faster and smooth. 3.58 A

2.2 Photogrammetry requires you to spend less time to know the result of your projects. 3.58 A

2.3 The advantage of photogrammetry is the ease and speed at which the data can be 3.58 A
collected. With the use of UAV, UAS, or satellite imagery, photogrammetry can help in
capturing images, analyzing the data to get the measurements and convert them to a 3D
map in less much time.

3.1 You can rely on photogrammetry when doing surveying and drawing. 3.17 A

3.2 Photogrammetry is a reliable method for the measurement of postural deviations. 3.17 A

3.3 Photogrammetry provides reliable information through the processes of recording, 3.42 A
measuring, and interpreting imagery and digital expressions.

4.1 Enables surveyors to obtain accurate measurements easily without exposing 3.42 A
themselves to risk.

4.2 Enables surveyors to obtain accurate measurements easily without exposing 3.50 A
themselves to risk.

4.3 The photogrammetric method provides more detailed 3D descriptions, in less time, 3.50 A
with less risk.

5.1 It is a cost-effective method as it does not require long hours of extensive ground 3.33 A
surveying.

5.2 Photogrammetric techniques offer detailed information on the layout of the land 3.50 A
surface which is of prime importance in civil engineering.
5.3 Photogrammetry can quickly and efficiently collect data of wide-areas. 3.42 A

Table 3 shows the overall summary of all the tables. All of the selected respondents both
professional engineer and engineering students are agreeing with the Assessment of using
Photogrammetry as a Digital Measuring Tools in the Fieldworks with an overall total Weighted
Mean (W.M.) score of three-point forty-eight (3.48) and the Verbal Interpretation (V.I.) is Agree
(A).
