express our exchange information or to express our ideas,
thoughts, and feelings to someone else.

We communicate to express our feelings. Communication is a tool
with which we exercise our influence on others, bring out
changes in our and others’ attitudes, motivate the people around
us and establish and maintain relationships with them.
Communication makes a major part of our active life and is a
social activity. This social activity is pursued verbally

with others. For example, the tone of voice can give clues to
mood or emotional state, whilst hand signals or gestures can add
to a spoken message.
Written Communication. It includes letters, e-mails, social
media, books, magazines, the Internet and other media. Until
recent times, a relatively small number of writers and publisher

which has led to an explosion of information and communication
possibilities.
