JD / Design Engineer, Gas Analyzer System

Works as a member of technical team accordance with company procedures and in

support of the overall objectives of Technical Department including schedule, continuous
improvement of quality, customer satisfaction, safety performance, human resource.

Leads design of gas analyzer system and instrumentation products.

Main Areas of Responsibility

• Lead technical side of gas analyzer system and instrumentation from tendering
phase (if any) to customer requirements clarification, planning, design,
procurement, installation and testing, commissioning.

• Establish professional relationships with customers to understand project’s

requirements & ensure customer satisfaction.

• Design and/or manages gas analyzer design, ensure that it is comply with project
specification.

• Prepare design document & inspection and/or carry out the test in case of needed
for Gas analyzer and process instrument (GA & PI).

• Accurately report the status of assigned work package & projects related to GA &
PI.

• Prepare budgetary and resource of work package related to Gas analyzer system
and instruments.

• Provide technical support during tendering phase or new opportunity.

• Lead the design, assembly, calibration, testing and commissioning for Gas analyzer
system

• May perform other assigned tasks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Instrument engineer or E&I engineer

• 2-3 years’ experience in E&I design, understanding of Gas analyzer is advantage

• 2-3 years’ experience in process instrument products (pressure, level, flow,

temperature, valve, etc.…)

 • Technical knowledge related to gas analyzer work in industrial facilities.

• Able to read & understand required technical standards.

• Effectively communicate & presentation skill.

• Good in data processing & report using common office applications.

• Understanding of ISO 9001 QMS

• High energy & willing to accept new challenges & learn new methodologies

• Fluent in English

• Must have written and oral communication skills at all levels of business
communication.

Needed Knowledge and Skill

• Management skill (HR, Schedule, Technical, Quality, etc.)

• Knowledge of the industrial electrical system (Substation, transformer, protection,

circuit breaker, INV, Soft starter, etc.)

• Knowledge of the gas component using in power plant and cement plant is
advantage

• Knowledge about the structure of the gas extractor, the need for sampling system,
reading of the sampling system diagram is advantage

• Trouble shooting for viewing parameter

• CAD drawing design, sampling system and P&ID design, electrical design, panel
design.

• Drawing and quality management method

• Ladder diagram PLC programming.

• Knowledge of Handling of the measuring instrument and calibration for Gas

analyzer system (is advantage) and instrumentation.
