A Quantity surveyor is a multi-disciplined talented professional who is well


versed with the technical knowledge of construction, contract laws &
regulations. Apart from being a Cost & Contracts manger a Quantity Surveyor
is a part accountant, engineer, architect, lawyer & a business manager. As
Quantity surveyors have a vast diversity in the job, they have a larger amount of
social interaction in relation to other roles in construction industry. This is a
great opportunity for networking.
A Commercial manager in a construction industry is responsible for financial
management of projects, recognizing business opportunities and putting
together bids to win new business. A commercial manager is required to resolve
commercial & contractual problems. Perform risk analysis, check for
