ANALYSIS
1. From your home visit and interview, what do you think is the style of parenting
experienced by the learner? Explain your answer.
- I think permissive parenting, because they don’t use violence or any strict
ways of teaching their child, of what I observed the child is quite spoiled but
he has his manners towards his parents and slight active in schooling.

2. Relating your data with what you learned from child development, what family
factors do you think contribute to the development and over-all adjustment of
the learner in school?
- Parental attitudes toward education, since his parents are just elementary
level the level of attention for their child education is not quite strict and they
just letting them what the child will do.
3. Does the communication between the home-school have an effect on the
learner? If yes, what are these effects?
- Yes, since the parents are only Elementary level the knowledge of the parents
aren’t enough to teach the child needs in school, since its pandemic it’s
difficult, furthermore the child experiencing difficulties towards answering his
modules, they only dependent to his classmates’ answer, they lose
independent learning and commit cheating.

4. How can the teacher partner with the community to contribute to the
development and learning of the students? Who are the people or which
institutions can the teacher tap to seek advice regarding the development and
learning of students?

- Impose tutorial class in every student, the teacher can lend help for the
barangay officials to conduct a certain tutorial activity in each barangay to give
the students a special tutorial class for them to learn and develop self-learning
to avoid cheating, dependent to others , plagiarism, and always focusing to
nonsense things.

REFLECTION
1. Reflect on your own development as a child. What type of parenting did you
experience? How did it affect you?

- Authoritative Parenting, my parents always have rules in the house if I don’t

follow those rules for me to develop my self they will give me a warning.
However, it helped me to develop myself to have self- responsibility in
learning and how to faced it one by one by not breaking the rules that I made
to myself.

2. As a future teacher, how would you establish good home-school

collaboration? How can you work well with the parents? How can you help
them? How can they help you?
- As a future teacher, visitation is good for each student, it will monitor their
physical, emotional, cognitive, behavioral aspect of how their life is during
pandemic or not it also develops good relationship between the student and
parent. Eventually the parents will be glad that their child have a supportive
and responsible teacher.
