Student Profile
Jojo Mendoza Gunio was born on March 07, 1992 in Gen. Emilio
Aguinaldo, Cavite (Bailen) is the only child of Mr. Justino and Mrs. Wilma Gunio.
He was graduated primary education in Nazareth School, Pob. I, Gen.
Emilio Aguinaldo, Cavite and secondary education at Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo
National High School, Castaños Cerca, Gen. Emilio Agiunaldo, Cavite. And now
studying in Cavite State University-Naic, Bucana, Naic, Cavite taking Bachelor of
Science in Computer Science.
Gilvis Garcia Maralang is the sixth among the seven broods of Mr.
Gaudioso and Mrs. Elvie Maralang. He was born on October 03, 1992 in
Palangue II, Naic, Cavite.
He finish his elementary education at Palangue Central Elementary
School and secondary education at Naic National High School in Halang Naic,
Cavite. He pursue his college education at Cavite State University- Naic, where
he took up Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
Ariel Factor Pajarillaga was born on June 01, 1989 at Concepcion,
Gen.Tinio, Nueva Ecija. Fifth among seven seedlings of Mr. Anselmo and Mrs.
Salome Pajarillaga.
He finish his Elementary education at Gen.Tinio East central School and
secondary education at Gen. Tinio National High School. And now studying at
Cavite State University-Naic, taking a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

INTRODUCTION
We all know that almost all people can access an internet, because it is
the fastest way to access information or data that why the study conducted for
the own benefits of the Gregorian.
The study represents what kind of the school they have and what are the
different features of the school.
Saint Gregory Academy is a catholic school that aims to help the human
person in his pursuit of his ultimate end and of the society of which he is a
member, with responsibilities in order to create for the school community a
special atmosphere animated by the Gospel spirit of freedom and charity.
The specific objective of the institution are:
1. To align the vision-mission of the school with the diocesan
vision-mission.
2. To make Religion (Christian Value Formation) as care of the
curriculum.
3. To instill in the faculty and the student the value of academic
excellence.
4. To implement an improved curriculum aiming at quality
education.
5. To guide the students to take a justified in life, to develop the
ability to plan his own life as an individual and to enjoy a rich,
sincere and varied social life; to lead a good life based on the
principles of Catholic morality.
6. To prepare the student to contribute to the economic
development, conversation of natural resources and
preservation of Mother Earth.
7. To provide worthwhile leisure time activities and to encourage
him to participate in various cultural, vocational, community
extension, recreational, social and ecological activities.
8. To prepare the students for engagement in leadership by
providing opportunities for initiative and creativity.
9. To provide and upgrade the necessary and modern facilities of
the school.
10. To instill the Gregorian spirit of academic excellence, service,
leadership and values formation in the life and witness of the
atudents and graduate of Saint Gregory Academy.

Statement of the Problem
This study was conducted to answer the following questions:

1. How will the study provide easy access of the updates about the
School?
2. How will the study enhance the delivery and distribution of the
publication?
3. How will the study be evaluated?
Importance of the study
The study entitled “St. Gregory Academy Official Website” was made for
the benefits of the Gregorian staffs and students. It helps the user to easily
access the school information; latest news or events, different features of the
school and others. The system enabled the staffs to post the news or events, to
upload and delete latest photos of activities and latest facilities they have. This
can also be used as a time table for the students to know the forthcoming events
and what so ever changes the management want to inform to all gregorians
same with their parents.

1. Create a system that will ease the promotion of the school and
encourage the other student outside the Gregorian.
2. Design to fast conversation of the student to school that willing to join
the Gregorian.

Technical Terms
Adobe Photoshop CS3 – is a graphics editing program developed and published
by Adobe Systems.
Apache – is a web server notable for playing a key rolr in the initial growth of the
World Wide Web.
Client – is the requesting program or user in a client/server relationship. It is an
application or system that accesses a remote service on another computer
system, known as a server.
CSS – is a style sheet language used to describe the presentation (that is, the
look and formatting) of a document written in a markup language. It’s most
common application is to style web pages written in HTML and XHTML.
Database – is an integrated collection of logically related records or files which
consolidates records into a common pool of data records that provides data for
many applications. A database is a collection of information that is organized so
that it can easily be accessed, managed, and updated.
MySQL – is a relational database management system (RDBMS) which has
more than 6 million installations. MySQL stands for “My Structured Query
Language”. The program runs as a server providing multi-user access to a
number of database.
PHP – is a widely-used, general-purpose scripting language that was originally
designed for web development, to produce dynamic web pages. It can be
embedded into HTML and generally runs on a web server, which needs to be
configured to process PHP code and create web page content from it.
Server – computer handling the request and sending back the HTML file. It is a
computer program that provides services to other computer programs (and their
users) in the same or other computer.
Windows XP – is a line of operating system produce by Microsoft for use on
personal computers, including home and business desktops, notebook
computers, and media center. The name “XP” is short for “experience”.
Operational Terms
Alumni – A graduate of former student of Cavite State Universty – Naic.
Alumni Feature – It is the section of CvSU – Naic Tides which features the
achievements and success of the alumni of the campus.
Clients – those who are able to view the system, able to send comments and
feedbacks to the EIC.
Comments – Written remarks sent by clients regarding the issue or the campus
sent by clients.
CvSU Naic Tides – It is a monthly publication of the administration of CvSU –
Naic. It included events and updates regarding the administration, faculty and
staff of the campus.
EIC – Editor-in Chief, administrator of the system and the overall in-charge of the
tasks, able to post and create reports, accepts and reject comments, choose
template for the issue, upload pictures edit staff members.
News – Communication of information on current events regarding the campus.
Reports – News or articles for the issue sent by the staffs to the EIC.
Seminars – Seminars participated by the staff or students of CvSU – Naic or the
seminars hosted by the campus.
Staff – News contributor for the issue, able to make and send reports to the EIC,
edit their profile and upload pictures.

Academy</strong> was founded in 1965. It is a catholic school owned and operated by a
corporation of the Diocese of Imus and the people of Indang. Situated in the center of the
town of Indang, Cavite, it is adjacent to the parish church and is opposite the municipal
building.
Looking back in 1964, Msgr. Mauro de Leon, the parish priest of Indang that time
along with a retiree from the government service, thought of putting up a Catholic school,
an institution different from those already operating in the town. They contacted some
interested individuals from the place and after several meetings, they made plans for the
establishment of Saint Gregory Academy in honor of the Patron Saint of the Parish.
It was in July 1965 that Saint Gregory Academy opened its doors to welcome the
first and second year students. Six rooms of the convent were utilized as classroom with
12 full time teachers. Msgr. De Leon served as first Director and Pedro Creencia as the
Principal.
After the year of operation, the Diocese of Imus took over the management and
put up 60% of the capital stock while the lay people contributed 40%.
Complete high school was in operation on the second year and the
academic building was constructed. On April 28, 1967 the school received its Certificate
of Recognition signed by the Secretary of Education, Hon. Carlos P. Romulo.
With the able leadership of the administrators of the school from its inception up
to the present, Saint Gregory Academy has grown gradually. When Fr. Redentor S.
Corpuz was appointed Principal in school year 1980-1981, he continued worked on the
establishment of the Pre-elementary and Elementary Department until their recognition
on April 18, 1983 and 1986 respectively.
With Fr. Corpuz's love and zeal to serve the church through the educational
system and with his managerial skills, he has spent a great deal of his time and effort in
helping the school to improve through the years. He initiated ways and means to raise
funds in order to meet the needs of the growing population. Fundraising was in terms of
holding raffle draws, concerts , and donations and parents. These fund raising activities
had been successful with the cooperation of parents, teachers, and friends. His linkages
with the different agencies and institution have facilitated the student's acquisition of
scholarships for college education. Also, the teachers could easily avail themselves of the
trainings and seminars for their professional upliftment because of these linkages.
Acquisition of books and other equipment has been made easy through the book
foundation and other agencies.
To develop the students academic potentials, leadership, and fellowship, they are
sent to summer camps, trainings, workshops, sport fests, and the like. Likewise, the
school participates in the diocesan program such as teacher's assemblies which aim to
provide a continuing education that will strengthen the teacher's commitment of service
to the faith. Service to the community is also a concern of the present administration.
This is done through community outreach program like putting up livelihood projects to
help augment the income of the beneficiaries. Teaching catechism in the public schools is
also our way of reaching out to the pupils and our way to participate in the evangelization
programs of the church. Making the school facilities available to the church and the
community on special occasions is also a way of reaching out of them.
The school is also involved in helping maintain the ecological balance of our
Mother Earth by providing seedlings to selected students in the different levels to be
planted in their respective homes. The public schools in Indang also received seedlings
from our school.
The principal sees to it that teachers receive salaries that are at par with the
salaries of public school teachers.
Forty-four years is a long stretch of time especially for a school that is trying its
level best to live up to the expectations of parents, students, alumni, the general public
and the principles for which it was founded. Through the years, SGA has tried to provide
its worth by making education relevant and responsive to the needs of the times. Imbued
with the Gregorian spirit of academic excellence, service and values information, it is our
prayer that SGA will continue to grow by molding and guiding our students into
productive citizens and responsible Christians who are Maka-Diyos: makatao,
makabuhay, makabayan, at makakalikasan.</font></p>
