SBCA & NAB issues notice against Illegal Residential

Societies
Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) and National Accountability Bureau (NAB) issued notices against
illegal residential housing projects and schemes in Karachi.

SBCA issued a notice with list of 26 residential housing projects in different parts of Karachi which have
been found involved in illegal sale of plots through Electronic Media, Print Media, TV Cable network and
social media.

These projects include:

1. Khayaban-e-Bilal (Sector No. 6-B, Surjani Town, Gadap Town, Karachi)

2. Gulshan-e-Fatima (Deh Manghopir, Gadap Town, Karachi)
3. Hadeed City (Bin Qasim Town, Karachi)
4. Danish Crystal City (District Malir, Gadap Town, Karachi)
5. Brokes City (Gadap Town, Karachi)
6. Baghy Waroo Modern Village (Deb Nangan, Gadap Town Karachi)
7. Zeenat Square (Plot # 187, Zeenat Lawn, Garden East, Karachi)
8. GM Housing Society Phase-II (Gadap Town, Office at Building # 6-C Sunset Lane, Near Caltex
Pump, Phase-2 DHA, Karachi)
9. Sehar Housing Society (NC-01, Dell Taiser, District West, Scheme-33, near Gulshan-e-Maymar,
Gadap Town, Karachi project of Ws. Sehar Enterprises)
10. Sky Town Bungalows – Advertisement on Social Media
11. Hadeed Park City (National Highway Bin Qasim Town Karachi)

In all these societies the booking, sale and purchase of plots or bungalows is being carried out without
NOC and legal authority to do so. SBCA warns citizens to not invest in these illegal projects.

Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) List of Illegal

Housing Projects
Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) issued list of five housing projects in Karachi which are illegal
schemes without any NOC from the relevant authorities.

Notification was issued on April 30, 2019 in which these 5 housing schemes were listed as illegal and
citizens were warned not to invest in these projects:

1. Muhammad City Old

2. Muhammad City New
3. Al-Madina City
4. Abdullah Green City
5. Shaheed Hussain Green City
An advertisement was also published in leading newspapers to make citizens informed about the illegal
projects. SBCA informed citizens to not invest in these projects declared that it will take action against
these illegal projects & their builders.

Many builders and developers in Karachi start advertisement and sell their plots without obtaining the
required legal documents from SBCA. To protect consumers from booking in such schemes SBCA takes
action and releases lists of illegal projects in the metropolitan city of Karachi.

Such projects are considered among fraudulent housing schemes which are not considered eligible for
getting utility connections such as electricity, gas and water.
