I. Write Conditional Sentences Based on the Patterns Given.

A. If Clause + Reminder

To some students, individual learning is less effective. There are many different ways
to learn and prepare for examinations. The popular study method is study groups.
Here are some tips for participating in a study group successfully.
1. Arrange a schedule. If you want to make sure that the schedule works for every
member in the group, you should make a list in the group.
2. There may be some materials you don’t fully understand in the classroom. Be
active in asking questions. If you don’t have solutions for your problems, you
have the read the given material.
3. Study groups can be a great way to learn, but too many group members may
distract from the proper purpose of study groups. If you want an effective study
group, you should look for diligent group members.

B. If Clause + Suggestion

Writing to pen pals can be a fun way to form new friendships. Sometimes it’s also
difficult to get started. Here are some tips for writing to pen pals.
1. If you want to greet your pen pal at the beginning of the letter, why do you have to
say hello again in the body of the letter?
2. If you have introduced yourself, tell why you are writing this letter.
3. If you want to end your letter, say thank you for reading letter.

C. If Clause + General Truth

The movement of the Earth on its axis from West to East is called the rotation of the
