2. In the given figure, O is the centre of a circle in which ∠OAB = 200 and
∠OCB = 550. Find (i) ∠BOC, (ii) ∠AOC. 3

3. In the given figure, O is the centre of the circle and ∠BCO = 300. Find x and y. 3

4. In the given figure, PQ is a diameter of a circle with centre O. If ∠PQR = 650, ∠SPR = 400 and ∠PQM = 500,

5. In the given figure, AB is a diameter of a circle with centre O. If ADE and CBE are straight lines, meeting at

6. A room is half as long again as it is broad. The cost of carpeting the room at Rs13 per m 2 is Rs702 and the
cost of papering the walls at Rs 7 per m2 is Rs 1204. If 1 door and 2 windows occupy 8m2, find the dimensions of the

8. The internal and external diameters of a hollow hemispherical vessel are 20 cm and 28 cm respectively. Find
the cost of painting the vessel all over at 35 paise per cm 2. 3

9. The surface area of a sphere of radius 5 cm is five times the area of the curved surface of a cone of radius 4
cm. Find the height and the volume of the cone. (Given π = 3.14) 3
10. A sphere and a right circular cylinder of the same radius have equal volumes. By what percentage does the
diameter of the cylinder exceed its height? 3
