Polyfelt TS
A World Leading Geotextile
Polyfelt TS Geoiextiles are mechanically bonded
continuous nonwoven filaments from 100% UV stabiiized
polypropylene. They are characterized by a high resistance
to installation damage, high waier permeability and
increased UV resistance.

Polyfelt TS is mainly used as separaiion layer for subgrade

stabilization (road & railway construction, fourdations, etc.),
and also as filter layer'in hydraulic structure, protection.
reinforcement and drainage systems ( drainage ditched,
spori field etc.).

Polyfelt.TS geotextiles offer optimum soil retention

and permeability characteristic which will suit the
requirements for separator and filter malerbls.
The benefits of Pollrfelt TS
Like what is shown in the pictures below, contamination
ofthe aggregate base materials by the underlying soft Relativelyeconomical and environmental friendly

To prevent contamination, Polylelt TS

geotextile can be placed beh, veen the aggregate
base course and the subqrade a separator,
thus maintaining the designed aggregate
thickness of the roadway.

Polyfelt TS also provides lateral in - plane drainage. By improving
drainage, it improves subgrade shear strength.

Improved filtration of Polyfelt TS

Fillratjon is a primary function of all geotextiles. The gradation ofthe soil to Pol),felt TS as separalor between
be filtered must be compatlble to the pore size distribuiion of the ra lway aggreqate & subgrade
geotextile. Continuous filament, needle punched, nonwoven geotextiles
such as Polyfelt TS generally perform better in providing proper filkation
over a broader range of soils than others.
