NETLINER® MM
NETLINER® MM is a geosynthetic drainage composite used in leak
detection system. This product consists of extruded HDPE geonet
drainage core laminated with HDPE geomembranes on both sides.

We can customize our NETLINER® MM with required hydraulic

transmittivity of geonet and with various thickness of membranes,
matching with the project requirements.

Cover HDPE geomembrane in the NETLINER®-MM geocomposite

acts as primary liner whereas the carrier HDPE geomembrane acts
as the secondary liner and geonet drainage is designed to collect the
leakage, if any breaches in the primary liner. The main purpose of this
drainage layer is minimizing the risk of contaminants entering the
ground water.

This product is typically used in containment ponds, mine waste, MSW containment system etc., as a leak
detection system.

NETLINER® MM is indicates the presence of a leak and it has sufficient capacity to collect the discharge and
transport it to a collection point.

PONDS IN OIL& GAS, MINING, LANDFILLS etc.
Ponds are artificially created for fluid storage systems
which are designed commonly using geosynthetic
materials. Ponds can be of various types depending upon
applications such as; Leachate Ponds, Brine Ponds,
Wastewater Ponds, Containment Ponds, Gravity Ponds,
Raw Water Storage Pond, Pregnant Solution Ponds etc.

UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANKS

Underground storage tanks are used for Fuel storage in fuel stations. In case of leakage to the liner
system there is high risk to environment. Therefore, a NETLINER® MM leak detection layer to be
installed as leak-detection system.
The liners will be designed as per the required tension and puncture resistance of the system.

NETLINER ®-MM vs. Conventional method:

Conventional method for drainage is crushed stone with specific requirements which are expensive and
not easily available to deliver at jobsite. It is not advantageous to place crushed stone directly against
geomembrane, it may puncture.

An alternative is necessary which is cost effective and reduce construction time with ease of availability.
APEC NETLINER®-MM leak drainage geocomposite i.e., geonet bonded to both sides with HDPE
membrane is highly efficient, chemical & UV resistance product which does not crush under high normal
pressure of ore in heap leach pads etc. The installation is faster than laying crushed stone of conventional
method and damage to geomembrane is minimum compared to crushed stone layer.

Performance

The NETLINER®-MM geocomposite provides better in-plane flow capacity to transport leaked leaching
solutions under very high overburden loads.
