DOCUMENT TITLE: WORK BREAKDOWN STRUCTURE AND LEVEL 5 SCHEDULE

1. PURPOSE
The purpose of this document is to establish the Work Breakdown Structure for the contract
“Consultancy services for enhancement of desalinated water import and storage facilities at MAA
refinery” to divide the scope of work into manageable deliverables.

2. Responsibility
Consultant’s Planning and Costing Engineer who is responsible for preparing WBS and project
schedule.

3. DEFINITIONS AND ABBREVIATIONS

4. BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK:

Gulf Spic General Trading & Contracting Company W.L.L., the Engineering consultant for the project
“CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR ENHANCEMENT OF DESALINATED WATER IMPORT AND STORAGE
FACILITIES AT MAA REFINERY ” shall be responsible for carry out Front End Engineering Design
(FEED), Cost estimate and schedule for this project and Associated works in MAA Refinery.

 Kuwait National Petroleum Company KSC (KNPC) plans to enhance the Desalinated Water Import and
Storage Facilities at KNPC Mina Al-Ahmadi (MAA) Refinery to cater the increased requirement of
Desalinated water and Demineralized water in MAA Refinery.
