BOOKING INFORMATION
A 50% confirmation fee is required in order to secure any accommodation with us and we will require the balance (50%) 7
days prior to the scheduled time of arrival. Bookings are only confirmed once we received the 50% confirmation fee and the
guest has received a booking confirmation from us. Please note that we will require your 50% deposit to secure the
booking/s within 14 days of invoice date or your booking/s will automatically be cancelled and released by our bookings
program.

We will send banking details as soon as we have received your completed booking form as our system will generate a
reference number which you will need when making payment/s.
NOTE: Our availability changes on a daily basis.
We regret that all bookings cancelled within 7 working days of the scheduled date of arrival or failure to arrive on the
aforementioned date will result in full forfeiture of the full confirmation fee, except in circumstances relating to the death or
hospitalization of the person for whom the accommodation was booked. Strandkombuis will require authenticated
certification prior to releasing any funds. Please note non-arrivals no refund. Strandkombuis B&B is strictly a non smoking
accommodation establishment.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Check-in and Checkout
Guests are welcome to check in to their accommodation between 14:00pm & 16:00pm.
Please be advised that should you arrive after the times stipulated above, your key and a map to your room will be left on the
reception desk together with a telephone number of a staff member (who resides on the premises) to assist you if you have
difficulty in locating your room.
Please safeguard the key provided and ensure that all windows and doors are secured when leaving the room.
Guests are required to check out by no later than 10:00am on the day of departure.
Later checkout will result in the charging of a levy equal to one day’s accommodation rate.
Valuables
Please lock away when leaving your room as Strandkombuis B&B will not be liable for any loss or damage to a guest’s
property due to reasons beyond the business’s reasonable control. This will include loss or damage caused as a result of
theft or any economic loss pertaining to the harm/damage caused.
General Indemnity
While every care has been taken by Strandkombuis B&B to ensure the safety of guests, visitors and their possessions while
enjoying our accommodation, it is an express condition of your occupation of or visit to these premises that neither
Strandkombuis B&B nor its employees shall be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered to the person or property of any
guest or visitor on the premises arising from, whatsoever nature, except if the aforementioned loss , damage or injury is
attributable to circumstances within Strandkombuis B&B or its employees reasonable control. All guests, or visitors, whether
or not they occupy rooms are deemed to contract with the Proprietor on this basis.
Loss or Damage to Strandkombuis B&B
Should Strandkombuis B&B suffer any loss or damage as a result of an act or omission by guests or visitors of a guest, the
guest will remain liable for the full reimbursement of such loss or damage incurred and will be billed accordingly.
Right of Admission Reserved
Strandkombuis B&B at all times reserves the right of admission and accepts no liability for any loss or damage that may
result from the legal and reasonable exercising of such rights.
Should Strandkombuis B&B at any time need to exercise this right, no reimbursements or refunds will be made in this regard.
