REFLECTION DUE TO PANDEMIC

When the pandemic started, many families are affected not only here in our country but
also around the world suffered due to the spread of this virus. One of these is education that is
most affected because many students have had to adjust to the new education system where
teaching is done online. Even before the pandemic broke out, human life was no longer easy.
The food supply for an entire family, especially for families in need, will make it difficult to earn
a living.
Students had to get used to the new learning system. It has not been easy especially for
the poor living families as they need gadgets, load allowance and other important equipment to
keep up with the online class.
For many students, myself included, internships are the other way to learn and gain
experience outside of the classroom in the fields they’re studying. But due to pandemic, it is now
difficult to find companies that offer online interns as well as actual On-The-Job Training
because of the protocols that have been implemented since the pandemic began.
There are still companies that accept interns but this is limited only for the benefit of
other employees and the people within the company. But such systems are few that are usually
only located in Manila and depend only on the protocol of the said town, place or even the
company.
I also tried to find a company that could enter as an intern even if only online, but I still
failed to find because almost no company has implemented it here in the province due to the fact
that the companies have reduced staff.
So, we had no choice but to just stay at home and find another way to meet the
requirements to graduate. And this is exactly the report on what your experiences have been in
the past months studying under the pandemic. Choose where it is safer because our health is still
more important nowadays, don't just choose the thing that you know can harm you, not only you
but also the people who are with you and around you.
