ACTIVITY 9

A lesson plan is a teacher's daily guide to what pupils should

learn, how it should be taught, and how learning should be
assessed. Lesson plans provide a thorough blueprint for teachers
to follow throughout each class hour, allowing them to be more
productive in the classroom. This means that every minute of
class is spent teaching new topics and engaging in meaningful
discussions.
Lesson plan's has different parts, and I am planning to write my
lesson objectives which is the list of what the students can do
after the discussion in a specific to the topic that I've choosen,
relevant to the subject, and time-based that aligns with my
syllabus. Having a clear and challenging objectives is also good.
Motivational activities are a variety of activities that you can
undertake to increase your students' motivation and get them to
commit to doing things they don't want to do. They can assist
your learner in staying focused on your objectives and
progressing through your course. The motivational activity that
I'm planning to have the students do some quick stretching and
have them do a small game call, 'adjective me', where students
think of an adjective to describe themselves. The adjective must
suit the student and must also start with the first letter of their
name. The students have to memorize every name. The first
student just says his name, but the second and the rest of the
students have to name the previous names before saying their
name. The last students will have to do the hard work. This will
be an introduction to the topic of the lesson. I am going to have
a student-centered discussion where I would have an interaction
with my student and have engage, explore and explain. I will be
using PowerPoint presentation to introduce the lesson. After the
discussion, I will be giving the students assessment, where their
knowledge of the lesson will be measured. The assessment will
contain questions about the topic, in multiple choice, fill in the
blank, and constructing their own sentence.
