Dance in the Philippines
influences the diversity of our
culture beginnings and the
drama of everyday lives. It
blends the exotic customs and
cultures of many countries and
races --- Indonesians, Malay,
Chinese, Indian, Spanish and
American.

Spanish conquistadors when
the mountain ranges were first
CORDILLERA seen. The Spanish word refers

northern part of Luzon Island,
meaning “knotted roped”.
