Write a one-page reflection paper about how knowledge in grammar can be of


help in the work field.

Having enough knowledge in grammar can be of help in the work field. When we
are about to indulge in our work fields, we will be meeting diverse people, with diverse
personalities abilities and personalities. We will be meeting people whom we might deal
with them in a long or a short period of time. And in dealing with them we will be
communicating with those people and we don’t know whether what personalities and
mental ability they have. That’s why having sufficient knowledge in using grammar is
needed and must be practice all the times to avoid miscommunication and
misunderstanding. Knowledge in grammar could be of great help to have a more self-
esteem and self confidence in communicating with our co-workers and our boss.
Grammatical competence in very necessary in the work fields since there are
jobs that requires you to prepare reports and many other things that will test your
grammar competence. Good grammar helps to lessen confusion when an employee
decides to file a complaint or object in a situation, he/she doesn’t want or not
comfortable with. There would be no difficulty in sending a message to colleague or
voice his or her opinion in a presentation or meeting when he /she has a grammar
competence. Worked productivity increases when we have sufficient knowledge in
using grammar in our filed works. In short having sufficient knowledge of grammar
would save time when we are communication with other people. It would help employee
and employer to minimize problems that might occur in doing their duties and
responsibilities in the workplace.
When we talk with correct grammar usage, we become sure on what we are
saying. It makes our statements and arguments more valid and reliable. It leads your
statements to a clearer picture for you to communicate effectively.
A level of professionalism was also enhanced and developed. As we all know
professionalism in any workplace really matters. It makes a great impression on the
colleagues and customers alike. It also reflects that the employee truly cares or should I
say dedicated and committed to their job, his responsibility and duties towards the
company and its products/services. Having knowledge about grammar will give you a
high level of professionality and excellence that might leave a good impression on the
people you are talking to. It will help you to become confident enough in attending your
job without having fear and hesitations since you are fully equipped with knowledge.
Moreover, grammar will help your employees understand your instructions better, thus
avoiding any confusion or misunderstanding about what is expected of them.
Knowledge of grammar in the work field make you spent your job in doing productive
things rather than creating troubles and problems.

To sum up having sufficient knowledge about grammar will help workers to become
effective and efficient individuals that can do their responsibility with confidence to
become productive individuals for them to become the best asset of the company or
office they are working with.
