JCI Index VS MSCI Emerging Markets In January, MNCN posted a decrease in prime time audience share, dropping by

Maintain Neutral on the sector; MNCN is our top pick
3,500 550
01/18 01/19 01/20 01/21 01/22 We maintain our Media sector to Neutral given our expectation on the back of
rising CPO prices which will slow down FMCG’s ad spend. Additionally, digital
media’s competition has risen. However, we do still expect a better economy on
vaccine rollout acceleration in 2022F, which should underpin consumers’
purchasing power as well as ad spend recovery, especially in 2H22. Despite
tight competition in the TV industry that might cap the rate card increase, our
top pick for the sector is MNCN.
