PRELIMINARY Prayer:
ACTIVITIES
1. The teacher will ask a student to lead the prayer.
“Dear Lord,
Thank you for the gift of life. Give us today the knowledge and wisdom we
need to understand our lesson. Guide our teacher so that he may teach us
the lesson well. This is our prayer, in the Mighty name of Jesus, Amen.”

Greetings:

1. The teacher will greet the students and vice-versa.

The class will divide the class into two groups ; each group should have 2
representatives that will interpret the activity given by the teacher. The group
members will guess what kind of activity performed.

Direction: With the same group do the task, students will answer the activity below:

What comes in your mind when you hear the word indoor and outdoor
reactional activity? Write word what will describe the indoor and outdoor recreational

ABSTRACTION 1. The teacher will discuss the following concepts.

Recreational Activity- is leisure time physical activity undertaken outside of


structured, competition sport.

Outdoor recreation-  OAZZ```````````utdoor activity refers recreation engaged in out


of the door most commonly in natural settings.

Ex: hiking, biking, football, horse back riding, Motor boat

Indoor recreation- Indoor activities or things are ones that happen or are used inside
a building and not outside.

Ex: badminton, billiard, chess, ping pong, video game

Activity: (By Group)
1. The teacher will give a group activity to the students.

Let’s Explore”

Direction: The teacher will give modified indoor and outdoor activity, with the same
group students will performed the activity given by the teacher, for 20mins students
will perform one activity for indoor and one activity for outdoor the group that can win
many times will be the winner.

Indoor activity- “ Build me Up” this activity called build me up. In playing build me
up teacher will give the students same number of bond paper to each group the
students will build a building by using bond paper, each team will use their strategy
as team on how they will build their building higher and stable. (10mins)

Outdoor activity- “Flag relay “


This activity called flag relay, with the same group all members in a group are
required to perform flag relay, their will be one member start with the starting area,
she/he relay the flag to his/her member waiting in the station area and she/he relay it
into other members and their will be one member that can run the flag in the finish
line. The team that can finish the game will be the winner (10mins)

VALUING 1. The teacher will ask the following reflective questions

1.Why do we need to do the recreational activity?


2.Do you think it can reduce stress or anxiety?
3.How do we say that recreational activity is one of the stress reliever?

ASSESSMENT 1. The teacher will give a quiz for the students.
