Market Structure:

Before we take our first trade, we must first define the market structure.

3 Types of Market Structure:

 Sideways

 Trending

 Consolidating
Sideways:

 Double-tops and bottoms in price

 Flat moving averages

 Flat regression channel

 High Volume in the middle / low volume at highs and lows

 TRADE IT: Buy the Lows, Sell the Highs

Trending:

 Higher-highs & lower-lows

 Sloped regression channel

 Sloped moving averages

 High Volume near the highs and lows

 TRADE IT: Sell highs in bearish channel, buy lows in a bullish channel

Consolidating: (Wedge / Flag / Pennant)

 Higher-lows and lower-highs

 The chart looks like a sideways triangle or wedge

 Flat moving averages

 flat regression channel


 High Volume in the middle / low volume at highs and lows

 TRADE IT: Buy the Lows, Sell the Highs, use the 78.6% Fib

Entry Patterns

Once we know the market structure, now we look for entry patterns that trade in

agreement with it.

 Wave Pattern

 Slingshot Pattern

Wave Pattern:

 Trending Pattern

 Sloped moving averages

 Moving Average Cross

 Higher-highs (or) lower-lows


 Entry @ 50% Fibonacci

Slingshot-pattern:

 Reversal Pattern

 Moving Average Cross

 Reversal before the 'first test' of the 50ema

 Entry @ major support or resistance
