INDIVIDUAL REFLECTION
 Which of the problems did the team easily evaluate for its classification?
Why?

Unemployment, Poverty, Corruption, and Overpopulation were the

challenges that we easily assessed under the Circle of Concern. These are
the most difficult problems to solve, despite the fact that there are
numerous solutions available. It is not as simple as it appears. These four
issues, in particular, have been circulating for a long time, yet they are
still present and growing.

 Which problems did the team encounter difficulty during the evaluation
process? Why?

Racism and media freedom are two challenging problems to examine;

these two issues are worth considering because they can both fall under
the Circle of Influence and Control, which is why it took us so long to make
a definitive judgment on where these two must fit.

 How did your team settle the differences in classification of the members
to have a common choice?

The first thing we did was classify each problem individually to see which
of the problems we chose were comparable to the ones we all chose. After
that, we examine each problem that none of us have in common in order
to determine where each problem should be placed.

 During the evaluation process, did you attempt to share your reasons to
influence your teammates into agreeing with you. Were you successful?
Why?

Yes, there are parts where I disagree with one of my teammates because
the three of us chose the same problem and she was the only one who
have different evaluation from us, but we worked it out nicely after
understanding her reasons and explaining our own reasons for choosing
that particular problem to be placed on that circle, and we deliberately
throw questions at each other to try and figure out where this problem
should go before making a final decision. And I was effective in persuading
her, and asking questions did aid in a thorough understanding of the
issues.
 Based on your experience in this activity, give your suggestions and
recommendations on how on one can influence or persuade other people
into changing their mindset or perspective.

One advice I can recommend is to be a good listener; as the leader of my

group, I strive to engage and encourage my members to share their
thoughts and ideas in order to come up with better solutions. It's a lot
easier to persuade someone when you know what you're talking about and
can explain why that particular problem has to be placed in that category.
When two or more people work together to persuade someone, one person
can be influenced.
