SERIES AND PARALLEL CONNECTION

Perform the following circuit connections given below and observe the behaviour of the I/O’s
connected.

TRIAL 1:

OBSERVATION:

As we can see on the ladder diagram above in Trial,1 it uses a Normally Open Start/Stop Button that when
the line supplied the load will not be energized unless it closes to let the current pass and reach the load for it to be
electrified and reach the output of 100.00

TRIAL 2:

OBSERVATION:

As we can see on the ladder diagram above in Trial,2 it uses a Normally Close Push Button that when the line
supplied it will result to a 100.00 output because of the load was energized unless the PB1 opens making the current
stop reaching the load

TRIAL 3:

OBSERVATION:
In trial 3, it has 2 normally open push buttons (PB1 and PB2) connected in series with the load. We can
observe that obviously the load will attain its output and be energized if and only if the push buttons are closed. If
either of the two PB’s are open and/or close the load will not energized too.
TRIAL 4:

OBSERVATION:

In trial 4, it is just the contrast of trial 3 because the push buttons were connected in parallel. We can say
that if either of the 2 is open or close the load will be energized still because for example if the normally open PB1
open and the normally open PB2 is closed the current will go through PB2 and vice versa

TRIAL 5:

OBSERVATION:

We can say that in this trial the normally open Push Button when closed will energized the 2 loads
TRIAL 6:

OBSERVATION:
In this last trial we have 1 PB with different function, I can say that in this situation if the PB1 opens the first load wil not energized but
the other will be and vice versa, if the load was close the second load will not be energized but the first will be
