This Tentative Deviation statement in higher side of Rs. 81,29,924.00 has been
forwarded to this office.

During scrutiny of this Tentative Deviation following observation are found:

Regarding Agreement Items:-

i). Corrected Estimated cost = Rs. 92,20,176.00

ii). Corrected Tender Value = Rs. 85,25,897.00
iii). Already total work done as per Agreement Items = Rs. 75,12,729.00
iv). Work to be executed as per Agreement Items = Rs. 8,86,968.00

In this Tentative Deviation, quantities of the agreement items are deviated in

lesser side and a total Savings in the agreement items for Rs.1,26,129.00.
The reason of deviation is stated in all pages in the tentative deviation statement.
(Flag-A).

Regarding Extra Items:-

i). All the Extra Items has been calculated in tentative Extra item statement based on
Negotiation rate i.e @ 5.00% Above on SOR’ 11 in place of Agreement rate i.e. @ 7.53%
below on SOR’11 without any approval of higher authority.

ii) Only a negotiation letter where discussion held between EE, Dharmanagar
Division, PWD (R&B) & agency on 25.04.2016 is enclosed along with the tentative
deviation statement. (Copy placed).

iii). Execution of Extra item No. 01 is not essential for the above mentioned work. This extra
item is related to Agreement Item No. 21. This (A/I-21) item is taken from SOR’11. In Extra
item No. 01, built up Tubular trusses has been provided in place of Structural steel work. The
item of built up Tubular trusses also remains in SOR’11. So, item of Tubular trusses has to
be executed as a substitute item in place of Agreement item No. 21.
iv). Initial part of nomenclature of Extra item no. 17 is missing.

 v). Rate of Extra items No. 18 & 19 has not found in SOR’11. Rate of these Extra items may
be approved rate. No reference of approved rate is enclosed with tis tentative
deviation.

However, Administrative approval & Expenditure Sanction has been accorded

to an amount of Rs. 21,50,646.00 (Rupees twenty one lakhs fifty thousand six hundred
forty six) only by the Special Secretary to the Govt. of Tripura vide letter No.
F.7-9(8)-DF/94/7839-47, Dated- 27.06.2015 for construction of internal approach
road (Black top road) along with RCC retaining wall at Chandrapur Food Godown
under Dharmanagar Sub-Division. (Copy Placed).
