SEAFOOD RECIPES

Seafood Curry
Ingredients:

 15 pieces mussels cleaned  1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper


 1 piece Knorr Shrimp Cube powder
 10 pieces shrimp deveined  2 thumbs ginger Julienne
 4 pieces shrimp sliced  1 piece onion chopped
 2 cups coconut milk  5 cloves garlic crushed and chopped
 1 piece red bell pepper Julienne  3 tablespoons cooking oil
 1 piece green bell pepper Julienne  fish sauce to taste
 1 1/2 tablespoons curry powder  ground black pepper to taste

Directions:

 Heat oil in a cooking pot. Add onion. Cook for 20 seconds. Put the garlic and ginger.
Continue cooking until onion softens.
 Pour coconut milk into the pot. Stir. Cover the pot and let boil.
 Add curry powder. Stir until it completely dilutes in coconut milk.
 Add Knorr Shrimp Cube. Stir. Put some cayenne pepper powder, if desired.
 Add bell peppers, mussels, and shrimp. Cook for 2 minutes. Stir until all ingredients
are coated with coconut milk. Cook for 3 minutes.
 Add squid. Cook for 1 minute.
 Season with fish sauce (patis) and ground black pepper. Cook for 1 minute more.
Sinanglay na Tilapia
Ingredients:

 2 pieces tilapia cleaned and scales  1 thumb ginger chopped


removed  3 pieces long green chili
 4 pieces bok choy or pechay leaves  1 1/2 cups coconut milk
 4 cloves garlic chopped  1/2 cup water
 1 piece onion diced  1 teaspoon salt
 2 pieces tomato diced

Directions:

 In a bowl, combine garlic, onion, tomatoes, and ginger then mix.


 Stuff the tilapia with the garlic, onion, and ginger mixture.
 Wrap the bok choy around the tilapia. I use 2 bok choy leaves to ensure that the entire
fish is wrapped.
 Secure the bok choy by tying a kitchen twine around the tilapia. (this step is optional)
 Arrange the wrapped tilapia in a wide cooking pan then pour-in coconut milk and
water. Sprinkle salt, cover, and turn on heat.
 Cook the fish in medium heat for 20 minutes.
 Turn off heat. Remove the cooking twine and transfer the fish to a serving plate.
Sinigang na Hipon
Ingredients:

 1 lb. shrimp cleaned


 44 grams Knorr Sinigang sa Sampaloc Mix
 1 bunch kangkong
 15 pieces snake beans
 5 pieces okra
 1 piece eggplant
 1 cup daikon radish sliced
 1 piece tomato sliced
 3 pieces long green pepper
 1 piece onion
 2 quarts water
 Fish sauce and ground black pepper to taste

Directions:

 Boil water in a cooking pot. Add onion, tomato, and radish. Cover and continue to boil
for 8 minutes.
 Add shrimp. Cook for 1 minute.
 Add Knorr Sinigang sa Sampaloc Recipe Mix. Stir until it dilutes completely. Cover and
cook for 3 minutes.
 Add long green pepper, snake beans, okra, and eggplant. Stir. Cook for 5 minutes.
 Put the kangkong stalks into the pot. Season with fish salt and ground black pepper.
 Add kangkong leaves. Cook for 1 minute.
Bangus Sisig
Ingredients:

 1 piece bangus fried or baked, and then flaked


 1 piece onion chopped
 1/2 cup scallions chopped
 1 tablespoon chili pepper labuyo or Thai chili
 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
 1 tablespoon soy sauce
 2 teaspoons ginger minced
 1 cup crushed chicharon pork rind
 1/2 tablespoon mayonnaise
 1/4 cup unsalted butter
 1 teaspoon garlic powder
 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:

 Melt-in butter in a large pan


 Add the onion and cook for 3 minutes
 Put-in the ginger. Stir and cook for 2 minutes in low to medium heat.
 Add the bangus and then stir.
 Put-in the garlic powder, salt,ground black pepper, and soy sauce. Stir and cook for 5
minutes.
 Add the chicharon, scallions, and chili. Stir and cook for 3 minutes more.
 Put-in the mayonnaise. Stir.
 Transfer to a serving plate. Serve.
Broiled Lobster Tail with Lemon Butter Sauce
Ingredients:

 3 large lobster tails


 1 teaspoon garlic powder
 1 teaspoon salt

Lemon Butter Sauce


 Juice from 1/2 lemon
 1/4 cup unsalted butter
 3 tablespoons whipping cream

Directions:

 Set the oven to broil.


 Open the lobster tail by cutting the top shell using a pair of scissors. Start from the
topmost part (lengthwise)until it reaches the far end. Push the shell sideways to
expose the meat. Manually pull the meat out to expose it.
 Combine salt and garlic powder. Sprinkle the mixture over the lobster meat. Rub it all
over the lobster meat.
 Arrange the lobster in a baking tray. Broil for 8 to 10 minutes.
 Meanwhile, prepare the sauce by melting butter in a saucepan. Add lemon juice and
whipping cream. Stir. Set aside.
 Remove the broiled lobster from the oven. Arrange in a serving plate. Top with lemon
butter sauce.
 Serve. Share and enjoy!
