Good evening everyone! Hope each and every one of you is doing well, and is safe and healthy 
with your family. 
I am ________ .  
My colleague ______ and I are part of the psychology team at WAAMH which stands for We Are All 
Mad Here.   
 
We are both excited and humbled to host MADNESS ANONYMOUS today. We are an online 
support group that provides a safe space for anyone who wishes to share their thoughts and 
emotions. We are a non-judgemental space where anyone can hear and share their stories and 
simply be there for each other.  

Before we begin this session, my colleague, Sanjana here would like to put forth a couple of 
disclaimers to ensure we take this session forward smoothly.

Disclaimer: 
-Everything said in the session is confidential. I request everyone who is a part of this session to 
not discuss anything shared within this safe space with anyone outside. 
- We will all make sure that everyone is heard and respected. 
-Each member will be given 30 seconds to introduce themselves. You can give your name, where 
you are and what you are pursuing (job/education) at the moment, and your preferred pronouns. 
If you do not feel comfortable sharing, that is also completely okay. 
-Members will be given 2 minutes each to share their ‘Check in’ – that is, how you’re doing, any 
story you would like to share. 
- If someone doesn't want to talk or be asked questions send a message personally 
- We request you to mute yourselves during the session except for when it is your turn to share.  
- If you have technical difficulties or questions in trying to connect to the platform online, please 
reach out to us over chat or the Q&A section. 
- If you log out, you cannot rejoin, but if you get logged out because of connectivity issues, you 
should be able to rejoin once your connection is back up. 
 

Nalini:​ Let us now introduce ourselves. Here’s the catch: along with your introduction, tell us a 
Netflix or Amazon series that you are hooked onto right now--- I will start... And I pass on the ball

Let us go around and share our check in’s with each other. Feel free to share anything that has 
moved you, disturbed you, made you feel great, made you feel uncomfortable. You will have 2 
mins to share. Irrespective of what each of us share, let us practice taking responsibility for 
treating each other with respect and empathy. 
  
 
Nalini: Question 1:​ When was the last time you put up a happy face when you 
weren't really feeling it from within? 
 
 
 
​Sanjana: Question 2: What is the scariest thing you had to convey to someone? 
  
It was lovely to hear from all of you! There is so much diversity in this room that I love!!  
Each story has helped gain insight not only about others but also ourselves. 
  
Thank you for sharing your insights and thank you for respecting and being a support for every 
person here today.
