RSA SECURE ID TOKEN SOFTWARE FIRST USE GUIDE

Summary: This is a quick guid that you can send to a new user, and this will guide them through
setting up the token for the first time and continued use.

Distribute a standard software token to the user

1, First download RSA SecureID Software Token from the App Store

2, Open the email you received that includes your RSA software token.

You do this by tapping on the paperclip icon within the email and then tap on the attachment itself
to open it.

3, This will show you the contents of the zip file, simply tap the zip file and there is 3 dots in the top
right hand corner of the token once you have tapped on it. Select the 3 dot and then select open
with. You now need to select the RSA token Icon and this will import the token for you.

4, this will give you a terms and conditions screen when the app loads. Simply check the box and
select continue.

5, This will now show you the main front page within the app. For the first use you will need to select
the arrow on the right hand side to retrieve the first token code and then sign in on the VPN via one
of the following links.

6, you will then need to sign in using your windows username and the 8 digit token code you
received from the App. This will ask to create a new pin number for future use.

7, once you have created the pin allow the next token code to appear on the app and swipe from
right to left on the token screen to go back to the enter pin screen

8, Now enter your new pin into the box and this will give you a new token code to use in the login
boxes on SSL VPN login page. And as you did before use your windows username and new token
code provided to login and start your VPN session.
