Bob and Maria

Share a Holiday Dinner

Maria goes over to Bob’s house for
a special holiday dinner.

Maria wears her favorite dress.
“How do you like my dress, Bob?”

“It’s OK. It looks like the same old
dress you always wear,” says Bob.

At dinner, Maria accidentally spills
her milk all over the new tablecloth.

“Maria, you’re going to get in
trouble. That’s our new
tablecloth,” says Bob.

At dessert time, Maria says, “I love
pumpkin pie! It’s my favorite!”

Bob takes the last piece of pie.
“That piece is all mine,” says Bob.

Maria decides to leave. Bob wasn’t
such a great friend today.

We can make it
