history doesn't repeat itself, but it often rhymes

 History doesn't seem to repeat itself apparently what happened in the past

appears to stay in the past and will never happen again. However, similar

incidents may arise in the present or in the future, but they will never be as

specific as those known to history. While the exact same circumstances may not

occur again in the timeframe of history, I am convinced that other events similar

to it in the past have a high chance of occurring again.

The more you know about the past the better prepared you are for the future

 Knowing and comprehending the past aids us in anticipating what the future may

hold. It will play a significant role in the development of one's character. The past

has been a huge support to us in learning how to become strong and self-

sufficient individuals. Looking back on all we've gone through, we will all be

prepared for any obstacles that may arise in the future. Growing up and going

through all of life's challenges can each and any of us courageous. It motivates

us to strive every day and overcome adversity in order to become a successful

person in the future.
