1. SCOPE CNH MAT0101Q, 86628043 Approved paint

1.1 This specification covers specific
requirements for Intermediate Gloss (35-45% at
60°) Black paint materials used on CNH
products. Paint materials and painted parts
supplied to this specification shall also comply
with all sections of the CNH MAT0101,
86628042, General Paint Requirements and
Color Control specification.
1.2 Paint materials supplied to this
specification were qualified under prior Case or
New Holland material specifications. These
paint materials are listed as non-preferred in
Table 2 of the MAT0101Q Approved Paint
Materials specification as they are not fully
approved to CNH MAT0103 performance
requirements.

3. REQUIREMENTS
3.1 Pigments shall be exterior grade.
3.2 Paint materials and painted parts
supplied to this specification shall meet the liquid
and dry film properties in Table 1. Dry film
properties shall be met after curing at the
specified schedule (time and temperature).
Class 1 paint performance requirements, CNH
MAT0103, 86628044, apply unless another
performance class is specified. Performance
requirements of this specification supercede
corresponding MAT0103, performance Class
requirements designated for a given paint
material.

1.3 This specification replaces Case Material 3.3 Effective 30 June 2004 the specific
