GTE Statement 3
GTE Statement 3
GTE
Statement
(Translated
from
the
original
Chinese)
I
have
chosen
to
study
finance
in
Australia
as
a
means
to
build
upon
my
university
studies
of
accounting
and
gain
more
specialized
knowledge
of
financial
theories
and
products.
As
for
why
I
chose
the
University
of
[Redacted],
I
firmly
believe
that
its
learning
atmosphere
and
campus
environment
are
ideal
for
engaging
in
higher-‐level
study
and
research.
Studying
there
will
positively
impact
my
future
employment
in
terms
of
both
my
professional
skills
and
the
new
outlook
that
comes
from
studying
overseas.
Given
the
highly
competitive
nature
of
comparable
graduate
schools
in
my
native
country,
the
top
graduate
programs
are
now
highly
selective,
and
I
find
that
I
could
get
a
much
better
education
by
going
abroad.
Australian
universities
are
ranked
very
highly
in
terms
of
academics
and
popularity,
and
I
believe
that
I
can
get
an
even
better
education
by
studying
there.
As
you
know,
I
am
presently
finishing
my
bachelor’s
degree
in
Accounting.
The
curriculum
has
included
aspects
of
auditing,
management,
and
financial
accounting,
all
of
which
closely
relate
to
my
proposed
studies.
At
the
University
of
[Redacted],
I
look
forward
to
learning
more
about
strategic
management
and
techniques
for
solving
complex
business
financial
issues.
The
courses
I
plan
to
take
will
give
me
the
range
of
expertise
and
professional
skills
necessary
to
have
a
significant
impact
in
my
career.
I
am
fortunate
to
have
the
financial
support
of
my
parents,
who
will
be
covering
all
expenses
of
studying
abroad,
including
tuition,
room
and
board,
books
and
supplies,
and
housing
expenses.
I
will
stay
in
an
apartment
next
to
the
school
with
my
classmates,
and
I
have
already
begun
making
tentative
plans
to
that
effect.
Regarding
my
future
goals,
I
will
actively
look
for
an
internship
to
increase
my
practical
experience
and
my
employment
competitiveness
after
returning
completing
my
studies
and
returning
home.
Due
to
my
strong
family
ties
in
my
native
country,
I
have
no
interest
in
pursuing
a
career
overseas,
but
rather
simply
want
to
take
advantage
of
the
tremendous
educational
benefits
that
Australia
has
to
offer.
Eventually,
I
intend
to
work
in
financial
accounting,
and
studying
in
your
program
is
an
important
first
step
in
achieving
my
goals.
For
example,
in
positions
such
as
accountant
or
financial
clerk,
the
knowledge
gained
in
the
University
of
[Redacted]
will
give
me
a
significant
advantage
and
the
preparedness
that
I
will
need
to
succeed.
With
my
motivation,
eagerness
for
a
new
challenge,
and
clarity
of
goals,
I
am
confident
that
I
can
adapt
to
life
in
Australia,
succeed
as
a
graduate
student,
and
go
on
to
a
fulfilling
career
in
my
home
country.
