Understanding logic gates

1. Design AND, OR, NOT gate with transistor, resistor and make their truth table.
Use logic gate ICs and verify truth table for AND, OR, NOT, NAND, NOR, XNOR gates;

Aim of Experiment:
1) Build logic gates using an only diode, resistor, transistor & verify their truth table.
Write both analog and digital values.

2) Use only logic ICs (7408,7432,7404) and verify the truth tables.

3) Use only logic ICs (7408,7432,7404) and verify the truth tables.

Components Used:

Battery 5V, Switch SPDT,Dc Voltmeter,Transistors BC549, Diodes 1N914,


Resistors, 7408, 7432,7404, Logic toggle .

Understanding Binary number, full adder Encoder/Decoder

1. Calculate and design circuit for converting decimal (0 to 9) to binary number using ICs and realise digital
display. Use full adder, encoder/decoder and show addition of decimal numbers through digital display.
