Purpose and Context

The Purpose of this project is to bring the great outdoors to suburban


neighborhoods and allow the youth to be able to experience the sport of fishing
close to their home. This will allow people of all ages to get outside and learn how
to fish as well as fish within close proximity to their home with out needing to
drive hours to a natural lake or pond. It will also create a nice park for children to
play outside and picnic areas will be provided to eat outside.

Phase 1: Selecting a spot for the pond

Phase 2: Gathering building permits

Phase 3: Constructing the pond

Phase 4: Filling the pond with water

Phase 5: Adding a variety of fish
